Hi, it’s nice to (virtually) meet you! I’m Harper Anne!

I was born and raised in the lovely, small town of Littleton, Colorado. Then, for college, I moved east to Poughkeepsie, New York, to earn my B.A. in Communication: Advertising & Public Relations at Marist College. I earned my M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication from the same institution just a few months ago. I have always been a very creative person but also rather business-oriented – I found the perfect combination of the two in advertising and public relations. My current training revolves around design, photography, account management, and more. I love what I do and am ready to take my career to the next level!

You may notice throughout my portfolio that I have quite a few theatre-related projects. I previously served as the Director of Club Marketing & Social Media for Marist Theatre. After a year and a half in that role, I became Vice President and was eventually elected President. As President, I maintained and managed all six productions our program did in one school year. I work in media first, but I'm a performer second. If you look closely, you will notice that I acted in many of the shows I did publicity for (it's actually a fun game!) I love theatre and kept my passion alive with a minor in that area. In 2022, I rebranded Marist Theatre for my Senior Honors Thesis, and full implementation is almost complete.

While at Marist, I also served as the Vice President and Account Manager of the Marist Advertising Association. In this role, I maintained our campaign schedule and helped lead the group through focus groups, research analysis, and more. In 2021, our Tinder: Let’s Play! Campaign won first place in the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition.

I consider performing my primary side hustle, but I also co-host the pop culture podcast Don’t @ Me. Our podcast began in the spring of 2019, and we recently revamped with better branding (by me!) and more celebrity guests. In 2019, we peaked at #67 on Apple’s Most Popular Pop Culture News Podcasts.
